Both values are significantly below the normal range and can lead to symptoms such as fatigue, body pain, tingling in hands or feet, weakness, poor concentration, or low energy levels. These deficiencies are common in young adults due to poor diet, low sunlight exposure. Early correction is needed for b12 to prevent nerve related complications.
Next Steps
For Vitamin D deficiency, take Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) 60,000 IU sachet once weekly for 8 weeks, preferably after food. After correction phase, continue 60,000 IU once monthly for 3–4 months as maintenance. For Vitamin B12 deficiency, start Methylcobalamin 1500 mcg tablet once daily for 6–8 weeks after food.
Health Tips
Increase foods rich in Vitamin B12 such as milk, curd, paneer, eggs, fish, and chicken. For Vitamin D, get 15–20 minutes of sunlight exposure daily (morning sunlight preferred). Contact me any time on practo for further consultation

Your Vitamin B12 (85) and Vitamin D (13.9) levels are low and usually require supplementation . In most cases doctors advise: • Vitamin D3 weekly supplementation for a few weeks • Vitamin B12 supplements or injections depending on severity Also increase foods rich in these vitamins like milk products, fortified cereals, mushrooms and sunlight exposure for Vitamin D. It would be better to start proper supplements after clinical review and dosage planning. Based on your symptoms, this may require proper clinical assessment and prescription. You may book an online consultation with me for detailed evaluation and personalised treatment plan.
