After 8 doses of 60,000 IU weekly, a repeat Vitamin D level should be checked before deciding on further treatment. If levels remain very low (below 10), a doctor may recommend an intramuscular injection for faster correction. Fatigue and poor appetite with severe Vitamin D deficiency are expected and usually improve as levels normalize.
Next Steps
Get your Vitamin D level retested now and share the report with your doctor to decide on the injection. Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation.

If you are not affected by the stockholm syndrome mentality --> & can accept usual indian tanned skin colour, best way to get vit D  is -- eat plenty of local fruits & raw vegetables(ie salad) & take morning sun light exposure at your naked skin daily for 20-40 minutes. Most of your problems will be solved. SUN is SUN .

If you take 8 dose and still vitamin d3 level is 10 ,then its indicate any underlying or comorbidity present.you need to do some test like kft, lft, pft and share results here.most likely its due to kidney problem because of absorption and synthesis of vitamin d3 occure there.
