Yes — taking your second Vitamin D injection 1 day late (on Monday instead of Sunday) is completely safe. Weekly Vitamin D therapy (usually 60,000 IU or equivalent injection) does not require exact 7-day precision. An 8-day gap instead of 7 days will: • Not reduce effectiveness • Not affect absorption • Not change treatment outcome Vitamin D has a long half-life and remains stored in the body, so a 1-day delay is medically insignificant.
Next Steps
✔ You can take the second dose on Monday ✔ Then continue future weekly doses on Monday (keep it consistent) ✔ After injections, shift to maintenance supplement as prescribed If you were prescribed: • 2 weekly injections → then oral maintenance OR • 6–8 weekly doses → follow that schedule Make sure you: ✔ Take supplements after food ✔ Combine with adequate calcium intake if advised ✔ Get sunlight exposure 15–20 minutes daily
Health Tips
✔ Do not take doses too close together to “compensate” ✔ Avoid doubling dose ✔ Recheck Vitamin D after 8–12 weeks ✔ If you have bone pain or muscle weakness, monitor improvement A 1-day delay is absolutely fine — no need to worry. If you share your Vitamin D level value and symptoms, I can guide you on the ideal maintenance dose so you don’t become deficient again. Booking an online consultation would help create a proper long-term plan tailored to your levels.

Yes, you can take the second injection on Monday (after 8 days). One day delay is not a problem in weekly vitamin D schedule. It will not affect your treatment. Just continue the rest of the schedule properly after that. Based on your symptoms, this may require proper clinical assessment and prescription. You may book an online consultation with me for detailed evaluation and personalised treatment plan.
