Take vit d 60,000units once a week for 6 weeks. Correct the deficiency, because vit d deficiency can affect kidneys over time.
Spend an hour daily in morning sunlight.

Ten days of 60,000 IU daily is a higher dose than I would give, but it is a short course and in a healthy 26-year-old kidney damage from this is very unlikely. The correct regimen for a level of 4.5 is 60,000 IU once a week for 8 weeks, then monthly. Stop the daily dosing now and do not repeat it.
Next Steps

A short course of high-dose vitamin D taken exactly as your doctor prescribed is very unlikely to harm healthy kidneys, though very high doses over a long period can raise calcium levels.
