Ten days of 60,000 IU daily is a higher dose than I would give, but it is a short course and in a healthy 26-year-old kidney damage from this is very unlikely. The correct regimen for a level of 4.5 is 60,000 IU once a week for 8 weeks, then monthly. Stop the daily dosing now and do not repeat it.
Next Steps
Get serum calcium, creatinine and vitamin D checked after 6-8 weeks. Drink plenty of water. If you get nausea, vomiting, excessive thirst or frequent urination, get calcium checked immediately. Happy to review your reports over a Practo consult.
