Vitamin B12 deficiency
Hi , my vitamin B12 levels are low i.e., 205 pg/ml. I was taking one becosule capsules daily. But stopped it from last 1 week. The upper mentioned levels are of today. Can I take Becosule capsule twice or please suggest any other medicine . Please suggest for vitamin D also as it is 132 nmol/L

Take eggs , milk, curd, fermented cereal products like idli ,dosa, uttapam, cheela to raise vit B12 .Also you may take a multivitamin supplement for 2 months and then give a gap of 1 month

Rather than being dependent on the medicines, it is advisable to consume nutrient rich foods to overcome the deficiencies. Your B12 levels are at borderline. These levels can be corrected by consuming foods like milk and other dairy products,eggs, fish, fortified cereals. Your Vitamin D levels are normal. Too high vitamin D levels can lead to toxicity and can cause health problems
