Hi! Vitamin requirements depend on country, type of food available, culture and ethnic background. ICMR and FSSAI are Indian organisations and have given the correct recommendations for vitamin A for the Indian population. Please AVOID vitamin A supplements unless you have been given a prescription to take it. Taking supplements without any requirement will damage your liver. We get enough vitamin A from our Indian foods which include plenty of vegetables and greens.
Next Steps
Include green leafy veggies, eggs, carrots regularly . Consult on practo.com if you have any deficiency issues
Health Tips
AVOID taking any medication or supplement without expert advice or prescription
