Basically we get vit D from sunlight but as we indians are brown skinned we don't get benifitted from sunlight Vit D deficiency in Indians is very common these days So if you continue taking dv 60k once weekly It won't cause hypercalcemia One more thing I would like to mention is that vit d is found in tofu and mushrooms only, so if one can include these in their diets it will bring out good results

Hello . Its better not to rely on vit d 60k units indefinitely but you can continue with shelcal hd once daily and make some dietary modifications. Also Vit d doesnt itself directly raise the s.ca in your blood , but can help increase intestinal absorption of calcium .
Health Tips
Best to get clinical correlation and further history for further evaluation and management in view of IBS and low levels of vit d . You're welcome for consultations.
