If you have been experiencing urticaria (hives) for 6 months, it is considered chronic urticaria. It can be very frustrating, but the good news is that most cases can be effectively controlled, although it may take time to identify triggers and find the right treatment.
If you feel that every food triggers the hives, it is actually less likely that every food is the true cause. In chronic urticaria, many people notice hives after eating, but the underlying problem is often an overactive immune response rather than a specific food allergy.

Health Tips
Keep a food and symptom diary to identify consistent triggers rather than eliminating many foods unnecessarily. Avoid common aggravating factors such as alcohol, very spicy foods, excessive heat, tight clothing, and stress if they worsen your symptoms. Eat fresh, home-cooked meals and stay well hydrated. Get adequate sleep, as lack of sleep and stress can worsen hives. From an Ayurvedic perspective, chronic urticaria is often associated with an imbalance involving Pitta and Rakta, sometimes along with Ama. Management focuses on improving digestion, identifying dietary triggers, and using individualized treatment rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. With appropriate evaluation and treatment, many people with chronic urticaria achieve excellent control of their symptoms, even if it takes some time to find the most effective regimen. Thank you
