Hi, over the last three months, starting from December, I have experienced unexplained weight gain of about 5 to 5.5 kg. I was taking Oxytol 150 and symbal 20, and after starting these medications, I noticed an increase in my appetite and weight. When I consulted my doctor about it, he said the medications were not the cause. However, I am quite active—I go to the gym regularly and do both strength training and cardio—so this weight gain seems unexplainable.
After consulting my doctor for two months without any resolution, I decided to see another neurologist, who confirmed that the weight gain was likely due to the medications. I have since reduced my food intake, but I am still gaining weight. My face appears swollen, and I don’t know how to lose this weight. Is it possible to reduce the weight gained due to these medications, or should I undergo any tests? BTW, I got all my tests done in December month and all were normal.
