Your body frame and weight are often influenced by genetics as well. Sometimes gaining weight can be a challenge for some individuals and it is perfectly normal. -To understand what food suits you or not a food tolerance test can help you do that. Medical tests including igG, complete blood tests also including your vitamin d and b12 levels would help give a better clarity where you stand in terms of nutrition. -Nutrition and diet should be personalized and there is no one diet or plan that fits all of them as every individual has a different unique set of requirements that needs to be addressed. -Meanwhile you can try to keep a food diary to note down foods that you consume daily, and symptoms experienced post consuming them, so you get better clarity. -And for vitamin D and B12 deficiency try to have a walk between 11am to 1pm in sunlight and if you consume animal foods, eggs and chicken can be included in your diet. -Milk and milk products also help in obtaining vitamin B12. -Remember that the right kind of exercise like strength training can help in muscle gain and plays a role in your weight gain journey.

Weight gain and change in body structure both are two different parameters. You should work out for body toning and shaping simultaneously weight gain. Better idea is to get the constitution done and go accordingly. That will guide you about the bodily parameters and the root cause of the issue. Once you are clear about the vata/ pitah/ kapha level you can choose the right food for yourself
