I had uncontrolled bleeding from upper gum for more than a day.
Blood test revealed Bleed time 45 sec and clotting time as 2 min 15 sec.
Haemoglobin as 13.9
My age is 31 years, male.
Please suggest if the tests are normal and its remedy.

Visit dentist and get scaling done . Start antibiotics like Microdox LBX 1 tab each twice daily for 5 days . Do warm saline rinses and apply Metrogyl DG gel on gums for 15 mins thrice daily .

Namaskaram, the hard and soft deposits near the gums cause it to swell up due to infection which cause bleeding. Using topical medicines may help temporarily. Your tests are normal. You just need to get a scaling and polishing done. Follow up with a diluted mouthrinse for 15 days.

It may be due to hard and soft deposits (Plaque and calculus) which causes Gum infection (GINGIVITIS) and PERIODONTITIS which also leads to bleeding
