Hi, our body and mind are interconnected. When you are stressed you get anxiety and Panic attacks. Your body gets tensed and adrenaline levels increase leading to increased heart rate and blood pressure. this could be made worse by drinking alcohol, smoking and also drinking too much of coffee and tea. Please consult a Psychiatrist. This will help you to formulate your problems and see whether you suffer from anxiety and/ or depression. If you are happy to start a medicine Psychiatrist may recommend a medicine. Otherwise psychological therapy could help. This can be accessed through a clinical psychologist who is trained in stress management and cognitive behavioural therapy.
