It sounds like you’re dealing with a significant case of typhoid fever, which can cause high fever, weakness, and body pain.
Next Steps
Since your doctor has prescribed Taxim OF (Cefixime and Ofloxacin), here’s what you can do: 1. Follow the Antibiotic Course: Take the full course of the prescribed antibiotics as directed, even if you start to feel better before the course is complete. Stopping early can lead to incomplete treatment or resistance. 2. Manage the Fever: Continue taking Dolo 650 mg (paracetamol) as advised by your doctor to manage the fever. Stay hydrated, and use cool compresses or sponge baths to help bring down high fevers if needed. 3. Rest and Nutrition: Rest is crucial during typhoid recovery. Focus on consuming easily digestible foods, such as soups, broths, boiled rice, and fruits, to maintain energy levels. Ensure adequate fluid intake, including water, ORS (oral rehydration solution), and fruit juices, to prevent dehydration. 4. Monitor Symptoms: If the fever persists, worsens, or if there are any additional concerning symptoms (like abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, or confusion), contact your doctor immediately. Typhoid can sometimes lead to complications that need urgent care.
Health Tips
If you’re feeling significantly weak or the symptoms aren’t improving after a couple of days on the antibiotics, it might be necessary to consult your doctor for further evaluation.

As a specialist, it's essential to address your symptoms seriously. Given that you have tested positive for typhoid and are experiencing significant fever, weakness, and joint pain, I recommend closely following your doctor's advice on medication. Continue taking the prescribed Taxim OF (Cefixime-200 and Ofloxacin-200) for the full duration of five days. Ensure you maintain hydration and rest adequately. If your symptoms worsen or you feel increasingly weak, please seek immediate medical attention and consider hospitalization for supportive care, such as intravenous fluids. For a more comprehensive evaluation and tailored treatment plan, feel free to consult me directly. You can reach out via WhatsApp at eight zero zero nine eight two one three three two.
