The stools are not of the same colour and consistency permanently. There will be some variations. I suggest you should concentrate on the management of your Diabetes Type 1. You should consult a General Physician with the list of all the medicines you are taking for your Diabetes. A cause for altered colour and consistency of the stools may be found.

Based on the symptoms you described, it is possible that you may have some digestive or gastrointestinal issues. The dull, mild pain around the belly button and the varying shades of brown in your stools could be signs of an underlying condition. I would recommend you speak to your doctor about these symptoms. They can examine you, order any necessary tests, and help determine the cause of your symptoms. Depending on the findings, they may suggest dietary changes, medication, or other treatments to address the issue. It's important to discuss these concerns with your doctor, as they can provide personalized medical advice and guidance to help manage your type 1 diabetes and any related digestive problems you may be experiencing.

Include increasing fiber intake with foods like whole grains, fruits, and vegetables, staying hydrated, managing stress, and considering probiotics  supplements to regulate bowel movements and improve stool consistency.
