Twistd ankle
I twisted my ankle few days back on the stairs. Although there isnt any visible swelling and I can walk, there is slight pain and stiffness. Should I be worried?

Hello there....ankle sprains are pretty common...dont worry since u can bear weight on it ...its a good news....the pain and stiffness should subside by it self however icing is recommended every 4 hourly...also when u sleep at night keep the sprained ankle leg elevated over a pillow so that the toes are at a level above your nose... when going out or at work...a hawk ankle brace or a preassurised crepe bandage will bring immense relief. Regards & take care.

It is probably a sprain of ankle ligaments. Apply ice packs and crepe bandage/ankle binder. Limit your walking/standing activities for few days and keep the foot elevated whenever possible.

Hello there..... Avoid activities that cause pain, swelling or discomfort..... . To help stop swelling, compress the ankle with an elastic bandage until the swelling stops.... To reduce swelling, elevate your ankle above the level of your heart, especially at night. Gravity helps reduce swelling by draining excess fluid.....
