Tsh is high and sore throat
Hello.. my tsh is 5.75 however my t3 and t4 are normal. Can increase tsh leads to tickle in thorat which leads to dry cough ? From last 3 months I am going through this problem.. I get tickle/needle pin pointing like sensation on left side of my throat which leads to dry cough. Have taken anti allergies and antacid but no relief. Pls suggest what needs to be done.

The TSH levels seem to be slightly above normal limit, however, not significant. You would only need to repeat TSH levels after a few months. It wouldn't be a cause of your throat itching. Most likely it would be due to allergy. Kindly consult for further discussion as I would need more information for further management
