For now just dip your hand in warm water till your elbow region and try doing all sorts of finger movements inside water for 10 minutes, 2 times in a day. Like- making fist , opening fingers wide, bringing them close and even wrist movements in circular manner in both directions.
Next Steps
Get consulted with physio for better diagnosis of case and then start following the treatment line.
Health Tips
After water dipping method. Take a rubber band around your fingers and try opening it. The movements should be pain free.

Kritika, You might be right by saying it is trigger finger, but there are conditions which will give similar pain. Start Physiotheraphy and visit an orthopaedic surgeon. A1 pulley gets thickened in trigger finger. Try tab Combiflam twice a day for 3-5 days

You need to find out the root cause for trigger finger. You should check your blood for glucose levels, uric acid levels, HLA - B 27. Changes in these values may affect your joints.
Next Steps
You need to consult a Physician or Physiotherapist or Orthopaedist for further evaluation and treatment as early as possible.
Health Tips
You should do contrast bath therapy for pain relief and flexibility.

Hello, The causes and aggravating factor of trigger finger usually are 1)overuse syndrome 2)systemic reasons like increased uric acid. Please discuss with your physician for uric acid levels and if your Vit D3 levels are low, please get the supplements for the same. Hydrate yourself well. About the pain in the little finger and thumb,do hot and cold alternate fermentation(3:1 mins) and repeat it 5 times. Apply some balm and can take some NSAID to help in pain relief. There are simple exercises like slowly opening and closing the fingers, making a diamond with your hands, clenching both hands together can be done.
Next Steps
For better understanding of the exercises, please take an online consultation with a Physiothetapist
Health Tips
Without examination and only on reading the brief given,I think splint can be avoided.

Apply hot pack around your hand for 2 minutes and then ice pack for 1 minute. Follow this routine 3 times in one go alternating the two treatments. So, the total treatment duration will be 9 minutes. Followed by that make a tight fist and hold that for 30 secs. Repeat thrice.
Next Steps
You can take advice from a Physiotherapist on the Practo app for a customized ergonomic and a graded home exercise program.
