Does a muscle trigger point cause these?
I have been dealing with ear pain, ringing , ear clogged and fullness, lower jaw pain under the ear lobe and neck for more than an year now..been to ent, physician, neurologist and multiple dentists and dental specialists. Saw an OMFS and he said it's MPDS. I did physical therapy for 3 weeks in August and that didn't help. So stopped it. OMFS told me to start PT again. seeing a PT now and doing dry needling in Scm and surrounding muscles around tmj since March. It hurts under the ear and side of the neck. Its constantly paining inside and outside. All my muscles around the jaw, neck, trap are tight and hard. Pt sessions didn't help.I used to go in with pain of 8 and it reduced to 2 to 3 after the session. It comes back to original intense after a while. Feel like something poking through and stuck in the throat constantly. Not sure if this throat pain is because of tight Scm. I have biting pressure sensitivity on one Tooth on lower side. does trigger point cause tooth bite sensitivity?

You have different symptoms. Did your Physiotherapist suggest you to do any exercise? I would recommend you to share your entire medical reports. You should consult a Physiotherapist online for further evaluation and treatment.
