there are many causes for tooth ache . most  common  cause is decay good clinical  examination followed by treatment is needed  as you are having swelling .visit a dentist

Hello, if there is swelling then there is an infection in that tooth.causes can be multiple .what is the real cause can be told by seeing the intraoral x-ray.so it's better to visit the dentist as soon as possible.

Causes for this could be multiple. Visit a nearby dentist immediately to get it diagnosed and get it treated. For temporary relief apply ice cubes over the swelling. DONOT use hot compression

In emergency condition u can take medicine U didn't mention in which part upper tooth Region or lower region
