I have TMJ disfunction and I have gone to physio and he said that it is not getting any better so I am waiting to get my MRI done which is in november and I have been waiting a long time. I am just wondering is there anything that I can do in the meantime to help the pain cause I mean it kinda sucks and hurts a lot.

There may be multiple etiological factor for TMJ dysfunction which can be ruled out by seeing cbct and clinically your occlusion ,based on that different spilnts or orthodontic treatment options are available. As of now restrict your mouth opening,soft diet and take analgesics if it's creating severe pain.

take soft diet (not chapati's), take flexon MR twice daily for one week. Restrict your mouth opening during yawning by placing your hand over the chin.
Better to start off with soft splint for 6 months. Along with that u can have myospasam forte twice daily for a month.. In 75% of the case the pain will Come down.. Every thing is based upon the severity.. This will give much better relief..
Start having soft diet ..dont open mouth excessively ..apply hot foamentation in the region of painful joint three times a day ..can take painkillere as per need
