The cavity might be big and deep....it may go for root canal treatment....take X-ray of the teeth and kindly visit dentist for furthur opinion and treatment....

It can be because of deep decay in your teeth and it might reached to the pulp(nerve area of tooth).

The cavity may be too big and involving the nerve. You may require a root canal treatment to save the tooth. If it is a wisdom tooth then extraction may be an option. Get an X-ray done and your dentist will advise you accordingly
