Hello. I am 29, female (overweight). I've recently noticed mild pain and swelling in my ankles (gets better at night), and initially thought it might be due to my shoes or excessive walking. But I've now noticed swelling in my palms as well. I tend to worry a lot so I've been thinking about this since morning. What could it be ?
Is it necessarily something serious ?

Your symptoms could be due to fluid retention, inflammation (like arthritis), hormonal issues, or mild vascular changes. It’s not necessarily serious, but if swelling persists or worsens, consider checking thyroid, kidney function, and inflammatory markers.
