Swollen hands and feet
Hello. I am 29, female (overweight). I've recently noticed mild pain and swelling in my ankles (gets better at night), and initially thought it might be due to my shoes or excessive walking. But I've now noticed swelling in my palms as well. I tend to worry a lot so I've been thinking about this since morning. What could it be ? Is it necessarily something serious ?

If you have a swelling of hands and feet please get it seen by a doctor . You may need to get some tests done to rule out any illness leading to this. In an overweight person it can also be due to water retention due standing too long so don't worry too much but it's always better to rule out any problem

Your symptoms could be due to fluid retention, inflammation (like arthritis), hormonal issues, or mild vascular changes. It’s not necessarily serious, but if swelling persists or worsens, consider checking thyroid, kidney function, and inflammatory markers.
