Neck pain started all of a sudden , im Unable to sleep any pain remedies? Really dont know what triggered it but unable to sleep with or without pillow

I have a constant strain in my neck and that gets more causing headache of severe intensity. It is so much that I have to take headache tablet. The whole neck area is strained and if I push my head in front using my hand, i can feel the pain till my waist starting point.
