You can try some relaxation techniques if you are facing anxiety and stress. If it's only since a month then there might be some incident or matter that's creating this stress for you. You have to understand what's happening and then do relaxation techniques like grounding - ( tell 5 things you see, 4 things you touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell and 1 thing you can taste) or do box breathing or do jacobson progressive muscle relaxation. All these techniques decrease anxiety. Because if the hypertension started with stress. Stress needs to be dealt with. Also if your sleep and appetite are also affected then there is more reason to have a detailed consultation (nine eight two six five four five six six zero). Don't check your bp when you are anxious, take 10mins rest before u check bp. Check once in 24 hrs. Don't worry too much thinking about high bp. It's in borderline.
Start mindfulness, meditation, yoga better in the morning so that your day will be relaxed, do for atleast 20-30 mins.
Kindly do the following tests and consult:-
Hemoglobin, Thyroid Panel, Kidney Function Test, Liver Function Test, Urine routine and microscopy. Regular check of BP to be done.

Hello, I have reviewed your concerns. Your blood pressure readings of 135/93 and 140/95 mmHg fall into the Stage 1 Hypertension category. While stress and anxiety can cause spikes, consistent readings at this level for a month require medical attention.
Recommendations:
Consultation: Please consult a physician to evaluate if this hypertension is primary or secondary to your anxiety.
Monitoring: Keep a log of your BP twice daily (morning and evening) after 5 minutes of rest.
Lifestyle: Reduce salt intake (less than 1 teaspoon/day), increase potassium-rich foods like bananas/spinach, and aim for 30 minutes of brisk walking daily.
Stress Management: Consider deep breathing exercises or professional counseling to manage the anxiety triggers.
Red Flags: Seek emergency care immediately if you experience a severe headache, chest pain, or blurred vision.
Your readings (135/93 and 140/95) indicate mild elevation—especially diastolic BP, but in the context of recent stress and anxiety, this is often situational (reactive) rather than established hypertension.
Next Steps
• Start BP monitoring properly:
– Check twice daily (morning/evening, at rest) for 1–2 weeks
– Avoid measuring during stress/panic
• Basic evaluation:
– Kidney function, sugar, lipid profile
• Focus on stress control:
– Breathing exercises / relaxation
– Adequate sleep
Health Tips
• Reduce salt intake (very important for diastolic BP)
• Daily 30 min brisk walking
• Limit caffeine (tea/coffee)
• Maintain proper sleep schedule
• Practice mindfulness / yoga (very effective for anxiety-related BP)
⚠️ Red flags:
• BP >160/100 repeatedly
• Severe headache, dizziness, chest pain

Check your bp frequently with a gap of 24hrs over a week, if the average is above 135/93, you are going into the stage one of hypertension. Which probably be due to stress and anxiety like you mentioned. Relieve those factors by changing your lifestyle and see. If this persisits consult pls.
Diastolic BP above 90 it is more concerned. First you have to check BP rest for 10 minutes before taking BP, take multiple readings morning and evening, you have to do some basic investigations, lifestyle modifications like excercise, yoga, and proper DASH diet.
