Hi Yes, social anxiety can absolutely be treated successfully—many clients have overcome it with the right combination of therapy and sometimes medication. CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) is especially effective, using tools like exposure therapy, cognitive restructuring, and confidence-building techniques. I’ve personally worked with individuals who now speak confidently in meetings and social settings after once avoiding even small interactions. You’re not alone in this, and it’s not a life sentence. With guided therapy and consistent practice, you can take control back. Take therapy, and you can connect with me on nine two six six seven two six zero six five.

Yes, social anxiety and stage fear can be overwhelming, but the good news is that they are treatable. I have worked with many clients facing similar challenges, and with the right therapeutic approach, significant improvement is absolutely possible. Therapy can help you understand the root of your anxiety, manage the physical symptoms, challenge negative thoughts, and gradually build confidence in social and performance situations. Depending on your needs, we may use techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and expressive tools like art and narrative therapy to support your healing process.

Health Tips
Breathwork: Practice slow, deep breathing (inhale for 4 seconds, exhale for 6 seconds) to calm anxiety before social situations. 🔹 Start small: Begin with low-pressure social interactions (e.g., greeting a neighbor or making a short phone call) and gradually build confidence. 🔹 Challenge your thoughts: Anxiety often comes from thoughts like “They’ll judge me” or “I’ll mess up.” Learning to question and reframe these thoughts is key. 🔹 Prepare, don’t over-prepare: For stage fear, plan and rehearse—then trust your preparation instead of trying to be perfect. 🔹 Self-compassion: Be kind to yourself. Social anxiety is common, and it’s okay to take time to grow out of it.

Hi there, Thank you for sharing your concern. Social anxiety is a very common issue faced by almost 80% people in corporates and tier 1 and 2 cities. It holds true due to reasons of upbringing, background, situations in past, and your innate nature in true sense. Nothing to worry about. There are techniques like CBT and NLP with can help you with this issue. Don’t worry about it too much and you’ve stated that you’re 9.7 Ft tall. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the most effective methods for treating social anxiety. It focuses on identifying and challenging negative thought patterns, gradually facing feared situations (exposure), and developing practical coping strategies. Many clients have shown significant improvement through CBT, combined with relaxation techniques and, when necessary, short-term medication under psychiatric supervision.

Hi Social Anxiety can be of various types- do u often speculate/ evaluate your social events?? Or is it only related to stage? Since when did you notice this? There maybe causal factors too- A bad experience from past- where you felt intimidated by the crowd( what are they thinking about me?? Hope I don’t make a fool out of myself here). Such experiences leading to stress towards having normal conversations with people. Performance pressure- often cultivates from the parent or the peer( that we have been comparing ourselves with). Constantly fearing to perform the best. You have been beating yourself too much to perform the best in the crowd. Nobody is perfect and nobody expects you to be perfect. Everyone has their talents and their flaws. If we(I) focus on the flaws more- we would be drowning deeper into negativity. We must focus on the positives and accept ourselves the way we are. We must believe in ourselves. People are meant to judge everyone. It is I (self) who has to float out of the muck. Gud luck.
