As your ultrasound is normal thats a good thing
These type pf numbness can be due to multiple causes.
Its better to book a consultation and looked it out by a doctor
As your USG is normal there is nothing to worry about. Your symptoms are may be due to over stretching/ muscle strain/ or a nerve compression.
For the pain take hifenac mr 1-0-1 after food for 3 days. If the symptoms persist consult a orthopedic surgeon for further evaluation and diagnosis.
Since usg is normal, no need to stress. It may be due to nerve strain. It could have resulted due to nerve compression with outstretched hand. It will recover on its own, please don't strain your right arm too much. If possible, take some multivitamins which even include vit b complex and Vit c
If it is a simple pain dont worry. it may be .. muscular strain or Vitamin deficiency.. kindly tell me other information like tenderness burning..any kind of skin texture discoloration , Menstrual irregularities.. please kindly consult your doctor
Since your breast and underarm ultrasound is clear, this pain and numbness is most likely due to muscle strain, nerve compression, or posture issues, not something serious.
It’s reassuring that scans are normal — simple stretching, posture correction, and vitamin support often help.
If pain or numbness keeps increasing, consult dr

From your description of pain and numbness ,the problem seems to be in your cervical spine , which may be due to wrong posture or long working hours on computer.
Try regular neck stretch exercise, improving your posture, checking your chair and table configuration if you are spending long time on computer. Increasing the height of chair surprisingly will definitely help.

Hello, I am Dr. Romain Rajan, General Physician.
I understand your concern â pain and numbness in the arm, especially when itâs associated with breast or underarm discomfort, can naturally cause anxiety. The good news is that since your ultrasound is clear, serious breast disease is much less likely.
â Advices
⢠Maintain proper posture while sitting and working â nerve compression in the neck/shoulder area can cause similar symptoms.
⢠Gentle stretching of the neck, shoulders, and arm muscles may help.
⢠Apply warm compress to the affected area to relieve muscular pain.
ð What to Monitor
⢠Whether the pain worsens with certain movements (suggesting a nerve/muscle cause).
⢠Any progression of numbness, tingling, or weakness in the arm.
⢠Any new breast changes â lump, skin dimpling, or nipple discharge.
ð Management
Since your breast ultrasound is clear, the pain is more likely due to muscular strain, nerve compression (like cervical spondylosis), or inflammation in the shoulder/underarm region.
Simple pain-relievers or vitamin supplements (B12, calcium) may be advised, but exact treatment depends on clinical examination.
ð¨ When to Consult a Doctor Immediately
⢠If numbness or weakness in the arm increases.
⢠If you develop persistent swelling or a new lump in the breast/underarm.
⢠If pain is severe, worsening, or associated with fever or weight loss.
âï¸ Every case of nerve-related or muscular pain needs proper evaluation â sometimes tests like cervical spine X-ray/MRI or blood tests are needed.
ð You can reach out to me directly for this case, and also connect with me in future for any medical consultation.
I am available on Practo or on WhatsApp at 85271646 seven seven for a one-on-one consultation, where I can:
âï¸ Review your symptoms and reports in detail
âï¸ Suggest safe medicines or physiotherapy exercises if needed
âï¸ Provide follow-up to ensure your symptoms resolve completely
Take care, wishing you good health.
Best regards,
Dr. Romain Rajan
