Hi, I am sorry you are feeling this way. I understand it’s tough. We are able to sleep only when our nervous system is in a state of rest and not overworking. The nervous system over works when there is something that is bothering us. Depending on what’s bothering us we can work to create a safe space to release those feelings of fear and worry and then move into healing. Once fear and worry are released you will be able to move into sleep as soon as you hit the bed. You’re brave! Stay

Hi Avoid using the phone before sleeping. The light emitted from phone interferes with the production of sleep hormone melatonin. It is necessary to determine what is causing lack of sleep. With a psychologist you can talk about your work schedule, eating habits, water intake, caffeine intake, and physical activity. A psychologist will guide you with therapy and lifestyle changes that can help you sleep well at night. The common causes of lack of sleep are consuming too much food in the evening, stress, caffeine intake close to bedtime, and using phones before sleeping. Talking about your daily routine and lifestyle with a psychologist can help determine the cause for lack of sleep. Do not worry counselling sessions will help you.

Your question itself has the answer. Being on gadgets for a long time, pushes off the sleep, the brain will be active for hours after closing the gadgets also. The nervous system loses the resting habit, so obviously people have sleeping difficulty sleeping. Talk therapy, especially Mindfulness - based therapy might be helpful.

Hi, Usually when we are unable to consume our mental or physical energy, we cannot fall asleep. Check if you're doing some kind of physical exercise or movement throughout the day at least for 30 mins. As for your mental energy, are you worried about something or overthinking about something? Listen to guided meditation on apps like headspace. That really helps. If all of this doesn't work then consult a psychologist.

Hello, the blue light from your phone and gadgets makes the brain active and unable to relax. Try and keep your phone on night mode post 10pm. Also, eating right and early, exercising in the morning and not at night, listening to soothing music, having some camomile tea, are some good practices to help good quality sleep.
Next Steps
If you are stressed and have too much on your mind, consult with a counsellor to help you with customized skills for your specific issues
Health Tips
Reduce usage of phone from evening onwards and do not resort to medicines without professional consult. Hope this helps
