Sharp pain after knee exercises
I had lot of knee pain and after doctor visit doc diagnosed that I was vit d deficient. So I'm advised to take vit d3 supplements. Im taking the supplement. However I wanted to do some strengthening exercises for my knee. I did those exercises and I noticed sharp pain after doing the exercises. Everytime after doing exercises I experience pain around the knee cap. WHEN CAN I start with knee strengthening exercises ?? What should I do for the pain?? Pls help I want to make my knee muscles stronger but everytime after exercises there is pain so I stop exercises for almost 2 days.

1.cryotherapy 10mints for 2times per day after doing exercise. 2.isometric quadriceps strengthening exercise. 3.isotonic quadriceps strengthening exercise different range. 4.calf and hamstring stretching 10sec hold ×10repitation. 5.Take sun bath for 30mints.

Come out with your job nature and life style to find the reason for knee pain. If nothing then the possibility may be chondromalasia patella.

Start exercises only when pain subsides. Firstly go for walking and cycling. Then gradually start with strengthening exercises

Vit. D deficiency has to addressed properly by taking regular medications but to my knowledge vit. d deficiency can never lead to pain around yours at this age , yes you can get generalized weakness but not pain. the reason of pain around your knee cap could be something else, may be you are getting delayed onset muscle soreness if you are focusing only on your knee exercises, may be your muscles around your knee are stiff which are not able to cope up the stress during exercises, may be you have hurt your knee but for this you need to be thoroughly assessed.

use hot packs thrice a day around your knee joint to reduce pain and relive the stiff muscles. you can apply any local ointment or spray around your knee cap before and after the exerises. and if pain allows you can start with the exercises under physiotherapists guidance

Pain will go automatically once the nutrition level become normal..take vit d properly as well as consume natural food which improves your immunity like green leafy vegetables and green tea etc Stop exercises for 1 week after then u will fit then u can start

Pain after doing exercises could be due to two reasons one is over doing and other one is improper position or method of doing. Do you have pain on both knees? How long do you have this pain? Which activity aggrevates or decreases your pain? Are you able to climb stairs without pain?

You should give hot water fomentation twice a day for 15 to 20 minutes after doing exercises. You can use Volini gel or spray provided you are not allergic. You should do knee strengthening and stretching exercises with proper guidance.

You are experiencing pain because there is something going wrong with the form and the way you exercise which is not suiting your knee. Also dig out what else are you doing in the day which is aggravating the pain or putting a lot of pressure on the knee.

Due to deficiency of vitamin d the bones are already weak and muscle around knee joints are also weak.so when you are doing exercises there is more pressure coming on knee.Start doing exercises with small repetition like 5 and with hold counting 5.slowly after week increase the repetition.and before exercises and after exercises apply ice pack or hot bag 10 min-15min.Three times a day but exercises should be done only one time.
