Hello
Root Canal Treatment can be done in the lower wisdom tooth but there are few downfalls due to which it is not recommended usually:-
1)Wisdom teeth many a times have different and difficult morphology of root canals which increases the chances of missing out any canals, improper RCT, etc.
2) It's positioning in the arch makes it to navigate.
3) If RCT is done in a tooth it needs special care regarding hygiene maintenance. Usually the upper and lower wisdom teeth are difficult to reach with brush hence cleaning of those teeth gets compromised. In such cases, the chances of reinfection or secondary caries increases thus leading to poor prognosis.
4) Most of the times they are not needed for mastication (chewing) due to their malaligned position.
First go for iopa xray, depending upon xray we can decide what to do.
Wisdom tooth rct is very difficult pl don’t go to charitable type of dental clinics they will ruin your teeth .
Wisdom teeth have varied morphology. Xray required to decide course of treatment. It’s difficult to access last tooth so in clinic consultation is required
