Re root canal teeth feels shooting pain
Re root canal have done for pre molar and molar .. premolar done 10 years back and molar 5 years back. Re root canal done 3 months back. Is the still infection there or it started reducing? Im scared if infection is there and I get sepsis . Pls help me

Is this X-ray recent one? Usually it takes time for such an infection to heal fully. It takes more than 3months in some cases 6-8k months as well.

A dark area around the root can take several months to heal after re-RCT, so at 3 months it may still be visible. The important thing is whether it is getting smaller over time and whether you have any pain, swelling or other symptoms. From this OPG alone, it is not possible to confirm whether the infection has completely healed.

Follow up with your dentist/endodontist and get a good-quality IOPA of the treated tooth for comparison with the previous X-ray. Usually, healing is assessed over 6–12 months rather than after only 3 months.

From the x ray u shared radiolucency is present periapically around the premolar and the molar. Although I am not very sure if the x ray u showed is before re root canal or before.

I can only tell whether the infection has subsided or not by comparing with your previous xrays. Since it's re root canal and 3 months is over could you tell me whether you have any symptoms now.
In case you have pain or sensitivity it might be that infection still persists.
