Hi strap is not a solution for ur posture correction do some exercises of posture correction like shoulder elevation, shoulder shrug and side bend stretch......and some upper back strengthening exercises....and some back exercises which will help in ur posture correction like bhujangasana, cobra pose and cat camel exercise......each and every exercise with 10 sec hold with 5reps
Next Steps
Avoid long sitting in one position change your Position after 20 minutes.......
Health Tips
Do some stretching exercises in between your work like some neck stretch some shoulder stretch it will be helpful in posture correction.....
Posture strap is not recommended for prolonged usage, vist nearby physiotherapy clinic and take few sessions of postural correction, then do it on your own at home for few days, better if you could continue the exercises to keep your self fit.
Hello. No, I would not recommend a strap for the neck. With prolonged used:
1. You develop dependence
2. Your muscles become weaker.
Next Steps
Find a good physiotherapist near you, and have a few sessions with him/her for postural correction and to get educated about proper ergonomics for your job- type.
Health Tips
Stretching your neck, back and shoulders every 15mins is a must (if you have a computer-based job). Exercise your eyes daily too
Continue with the Neck isometric Strengthening Exercises
Neck Stretching Exercises
Neck and Shoulder Strengthening Exercises
Lower back Strengthening Exercises
Next Steps
Visit Nearest Physiotherapy clinic for complete assessment and treatment
Health Tips
Maintaine Ergonomic posture while working in front of a computer
Use small/ thin pillow for sleeping
Use flat / hard bed for sleeping
Continue with isometric exercises to ur neck, avoid prolong sitting before system.maintain posture and ergonomics.
Visit nearby physiotherapy clinic for proper assessment and treatment.
Forward chin could be due to forward waist and a slightly flattened middle back.
Doing an exercise to pull the chin in is not enough....nor is a posture strap.
Tying up the strap is not a solution, in my opinion.
