I had undergone c -section before 5 months. I didnt do anything to reduce my weight after that. I didn't even had enough breast milk. I didn't wear the abdominal belt till now. I want to loose weight. I am 95 kgs now with a c- section pouch. Please tell me if i can still loose the pouch on wearing the belt..if not what helps me and also please guide me to loose weight.

Congratulations on your motherhood. Now that you had surgery 5 months back, you can do few abdominal n pelvic floor exercises to get back your tummy in shape along with follow diet advice which already Ms.Chawla has suggested. You should not overstress your body while exercising. Do only as much as you are comfortable. Of course you can get back your pre pregnancy weight and shape with right guidance n patience.
A good diet will definitely make you lose your c section tummy. 1 important concern-are you breastfeeding your baby exclusively? If yes, please do not compromise on your nutrition. Focus on small energy dense snacks like dates, fresh fruits, milk, nuts like almonds and walnuts. Avoid overeating or binging at meals. Also please do not starve. Include lots of fiber in the form of green leafy veggies and whole cereals like jowar, bajra, oats. Stay away from ready to eat and processed foods, oily foods and sweet desserts. Try to exercise, go for a 20 to 30 minute walk everyday. This will keep you active and boost your metabolism as well.
