Persistent Pain in teeeth
My gum was swelling..then I went to my nearest doctor...he advised me to do RCT...at that time I have no pain in teeth...in ist shift he cleared the channel and in 2nd shift he dressed that place...but after 2nd shifting...I felt severe pain in my teeth Since last 3 days...plz help me...and give some suggestions...

Hi. You didn't have pain before the treatment because the tooth cavity was open. Sometimes after root canal treatment, depending on the patients immunity response, there are flare-ups. There's nothing to worry. You will need some additional medications. Mostly it will subside.

Hi. Yes, with your description, it looks like you had an abscess. RCT is the treatment of choice in such cases. Visit your dentist back again & tell them about your symptoms. Check whether your Root canal is complete or not. Medicines are sometimes required even after Root canal, so check with your dentist for best resolution to your problem.
