The reason is 3rd molars/wisdom tooth. The particular gum region is coming in between your bite or it has arised due to hitting of upper last molar in the lower gum region. Kindly get it evaluated clinically at the dentist's followed by a check for pocket formation due to lower wisdom tooth as well. And also x rays and bite check. Till then saline lukewarm water gargles or ointment for this gum region will be helpful.
Next Steps
Visit your dentist for proper clinical evaluation

On looking at the picture, it appears like your Gums in that region are inflamed. Either you are biting on the gums Or Deep cleaning is required to remove the inflammation causing agents. Or There are clinically visible caries that need a radiographic examination from which we can arrive at the final diagnosis.
Next Steps
Visit your nearby dental clinic and get a proper examination done so that we can arrive upon diagnosis and appropriate treatment plan.
Health Tips
you can apply dento-gel and massage that area if the pain is unbearable.
