Pain at lower end of right knee patella
Am suffering from pain in right knee at lower end of patella , I was a active tenis player , due to pain not playing since 6 months . First time pain was noticed doing lunges , thereafter when climbing down stairs , now climbing up as well . Doctors say it is Patellar tendinitis, other said it is jumpers knee !

Rule out osteoarhrtitis at 61. This may be patellar OA.

It is majorly the insertion of the patellar tendon which gets affected due to overuse or due to any injury at knee.You can have a proper assessment either at our clinic or you can consult us online.

U know the condition now but what abt the management have u taken any treatment so faar or not was it useful to you if not kindly consult a physiotherapist and have ultrasound therapy or laser therapy for the tendon area that is inflamed since u have already visited the doc kindly do follow the therapist regarding the exercises taught to you more over the instruction to follow while climbing up and Down from the stair u can wear a knee band not a cap for ur sport if the injury is reduced now
