Hi
Good afternoon!
Flaxseed oil will only give you plant based omega-3 known as ALA. This is good, but not enough. You need EPA and DHA from animal foods like fish. If you do not eat fish then you can take a supplement if really needed.
Do not take supplements if you are taking any other medicine or have health issues.
Hi.. No, 1 teaspoon of cold-pressed flaxseed oil is likely not enough for the daily recommended intake of omega-3 fatty acids.. u can change ur diet & include omega-3 foods & if required can take supplements also
Great question-and you’re already right track
✅ is 1 tbsp . Cold pressed flax seeds oil enough for omega -3
Yes , it’s generally sufficient for most healthy adults, especially you are vegetarian or vegan
1 tbsp . Of flax seeds oil provides 7.2 gms of ALA
Daily recommended
Women’s: 1.1 gm / day
Men : 1.6 gm / day
So you are getting 6-7 x minimum requirements
✅ To boost Omega -3 naturally
Add chia seeds ( 1 tbsp / day )
Add walnuts ( 3-4 piece / day )
Use flaxseed oil on salad not in cooking ( it’s heat
Sensitivity) .
