This profile suggests subclinical or overt hypothyroidism. Elevated TSH with normal or slightly raised T4 may indicate the thyroid gland is underperforming, causing the pituitary gland to produce more TSH to stimulate the thyroid. This can occur even when T4 levels are normal or elevated, particularly in early-stage hypothyroidism.
Your report of high triglycerides and VLDL may also be linked to thyroid dysfunction, as hypothyroidism can affect lipid metabolism, raising cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
It looks like your TSH level is elevated, which may indicate hypothyroidism or an underactive thyroid. This could explain symptoms like weight gain, fatigue, or other issues you might be experiencing. Your T3 level appears normal, but your T4 is elevated, which suggests that your thyroid may not be functioning optimally despite the T3 level.
You are also on Diane 35, which is commonly prescribed for PCOS, and having high triglycerides and VLDL might be related to both PCOS and thyroid dysfunction. High levels of these could increase the risk of cardiovascular issues, so addressing both thyroid and metabolic health is essential.
I recommend you consult with a doctor for a detailed evaluation, as you might need thyroid medication and possibly adjustments to your current treatment.
