Night Shift is ok?
Hello Sir and Ma'am, My brother is taking BP & Cholesterol meds for slightly elevated levels for both. Is it ok for him to do night shifts. Any additional precaution or meds that is to be taken or carried along for safety. Thank you for the guidance in advance. Regards, Dipto

Can do night shifts. Monitor BP twice or if possible more frequently. Can carry the same anti hypertensive medication along with him during duty hours. If headache diziness chest pain or any such symptoms occur Measure bp if elevated >160/90 along with symptoms take one tablet and consult asap.

Salt and oily food should be reduce. He can do night shift without any trouble.

have a close monitoring of bp atleast weakly and cholesterol 3 monthly.
