I'm a recovering alcoholic. I've never really taken proper care about my diet. Infact I eat very less. And now my body and health is affected. Need to detox myself and regain my health through proper assistance. I have also gained weight. I'm a smoker.

Hello! Kindly stick to protein rich diet(eggs,soya milk,oats etc). Have seasonal fruits,salad,curd (low fat),or butter milk(lassi). Have less water at a time,and avoid water before and after meals(half hour gap between meals). Do exercise like walking ,cycling,and jogging. And,most important "NEVER LOSE HOPE", A person can overcome anything God willingly. Stay blessed. Thankyou!

Hi , 1st of all i am happy that you are recovering from alcohol uses, i see very + sign that you realized that you should take care of your diet, eating less is a myth about dieting and FAT loss programs , you feel you think however it might be case where your less might be sufficient/more for your body as per your BCA and other health conditions, detox is just a tool to prepare your body to its best level w.r.t food digestion, segregation & calories from your upcoming diet/eating patterns. again i see very promising sign of you gonna healthy that admitted you are smoker that quite promising to you as it looks likely that you progressively able to quit smoking since something stared catching your attention which be your source of releasing happy hormone instead what is actual have been for you like smoke for example .

Hi , Clean eating . Switch to Vegetarian food for sometime. Include salads and fruits 50% remaining 25% carb (brown rice and raagi) 25% cooked vegetables (curry and fry subzi) Exercise is important. Include yoga as a compulsory daily activity . Try only salads and juice once a week. For three months .

You can start with mild walk/ meditation. Take more of liquids and beverages. You can also get your constitution check that will help you to get to know the excessive heat level of the body. As smoking and alcohol leads to excessive heat that lead to weight gain. For specific results you can get your constitution done and go accordingly

Though eating is less, try to make it more nutricious. Include low fat dairy products, dal etc with your meal. Include fresh fruits and vegetables more particularly in your diet. Make sure your intake is sufficient that fulfills your protein and calorie requirement.
