I have neck pain on my left back side of neck and have some stiffness all the time and pain radiate to uper back

First of all, check that there is no swelling. If swelling is present so take a ice pack for 20 mint 3 time in a day at least and do shoulder rotation clock wise and anti clock wise 10-12 repetition.  U feel better in 2 days.

It could be due to poor biomechanical alignment of the neck and thorax causing tightness of the muscles. However, further information and evaluation would be required for the same.

Hi The first step is to analyse what is the cause of pain? Is there any activity or action that has lead to it ? Do you work on computer all the time ? If you know the answers to these question then you have to work on it.Meanwhile you can do little neck rotations hot pack and rest

I would like to suggest you for an X-ray of cervical spine to check if any disc issues. Apply diclofenac ointment to the pain and clean it with warm water following hot water fermentation. With this the pain will reduce for the moment, Maintain proper posture. Can visit or get a physiotherapist for proper diagnosis and treatment available in delhi. X-ray will confirm if any abnormality of cervical spondydlitis.

1.For pain hot water pack or electronic heating pad with optimal warmth. 2.Next with head rotation and bend down slowly ,u ll feel stretch in Ur left trapezius . 3. Once pain relieved can go for neck isometric exercises, shoulder girdle elevation and retraction, shoulder circumduction n short lever can be done. 4. Check and correct Ur posture during work or studying / driving. See that Ur upper back,scapulae should er blades r n touch with the chair. Raise Ur table ht , Use reading writing pad ,move pad or table closer to Ur body, Change The angle of Ur desktop or laptop to 45degrees bent. Better you visit a physiotherapist. And if it is sever you should do hot fomentation and take rest.. after little relief of pain visit a good physiotherapist.. this problem is may be related to your posture.. the physio will also guide you about your correct posture.
