Neck, shoulder pain extending to arm
Hello doctors, I have heavy pain in and around my neck, shoulders and right arm. I have low vitamin D level in body. Which doctor should I consult for this. I cannot lift even 1-2 kg items properly. Please tell medicine or treatment.

Best thing is to get physically examined at your nearest Physiotherapy centre and then proper treatment can be planned accordingly. For low vitamin D level, you can consult your family doctor.

Can you please tell, since when you are having the problem? You can visit to an Orthopaedic doctor or a Physiotherapist.

Apply ice or hot pack painful area. Perform neck isometric exercises. Apply pain relieving gel. Visit to Physiotherapist for cervical traction or  other modalities. Take oral painkiller medications.
Health Tips
Avoid too much screen time. Avoid pillow under neck while sleeping. Take frequent rest while work. Avoid jerky neck movements.

At first try to correct your posture and avoid neck bending specially at time of cell phone use..Then use neck traction and strengthening exercises..

Hi, You have to visit the nearest physiotherapist or orthopedics, to get through the assessment, then you have to start following their treatment plan. Neck pain starts in many ways. 1. muscular contracture due to postural imbalance. 2. Nerve impingement between two vertebras. 3. Based on occupation etc.

hello Mr. Ranchi you need to see a physiotherapist or osteopathy because this kind of pain will come two ways one is intervertebral disc-related issue or neck muscle tightness so you just go and take consult with a physiotherapist or osteopathy
