Narcissistic mother
My mother is a very bad narcissist. She always abuses me. Always shows she's superior and always keeps me hyperalert. I cannot spend even one minute in joy. The moment she sees me in joy she starts torturing me emotionally. Always shouts, is unavailable, belittles me and has never shown any love. She wants to change me. How can I change the behaviour of a narc person?

Dealing with a narcissistic parent can be incredibly challenging and emotionally draining. It's important to recognize that you cannot change a narcissist's behavior. Instead, focus on setting boundaries to protect your own well-being and mental health. Seeking support from a therapist can help you develop coping strategies and navigate your relationship with your mother in a healthier way. Mind Sculpt offers affordable online sessions that will provide valuable guidance and support for you.

Hi, I am sorry to know that you are going through these feelings. She possibly keeps you in hpyeralert as you are just 26 years old and that you should not get into any troubles. You have said that when she sees you happy tortures you emotionally. Maybe, she wants to drill down and makes sure that the factors / reasons making you happy are in alignment with the best possible future she wants for you. At times those who badly want to see only good things happen to us, and are madly in love with us, may unknowingly do certain things that may be a bit pushy. Important  question are. Does your mother truly love you? How could such love manifest itself? In her view, do you do or tend to do what may end up not so good for you in the immediate future? I opine that after a sessions with you, at least one session must be done with your mother and you together to go the root causes of the problem for the effective ways to deal with.
