Hello
Hey your is only 5 months old you cannot give top feeds right now. Except breast Milk
Right now breast milk is the best feed for the baby
Next Steps
After 6 months you can give him Ragi flour mixed with milk and it should be in thin liquid consistency. to meet the increasing demand of calories and protein you can also give other things like well cooked mashed cereals like rice , rice flour, rice flakes. Calorie dense (increase) cereals can be prepared using malted wheat or Ragi
To prepare amlyase rich food the cereal should be soaked over night water should be removed and the cereal is tied in moist cloth and kept warm place . After 48 hours or so sprouts come out. It should be dried in Sun or can be roasted . The malted cereal is powered after removing sprouts.
This is good for baby's growth
