There are foods rich in protein and other nutrients that can support muscle health: 1. Lean meats: Chicken breast, turkey. 2. Fish: Salmon, tuna, trout, and other fatty fish rich in omega-3 fatty acids. 3. Eggs: A complete protein source with all essential amino acids. 4. Dairy: Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, and low-fat milk provide protein and calcium. 5. Plant-based proteins: Tofu, tempeh, edamame, lentils, chickpeas, black beans, and quinoa. 6. Nuts and seeds: Almonds, peanuts, cashews, chia seeds, and pumpkin seeds are rich in protein and healthy fats. 7. Whole grains: Brown rice, quinoa, oats, and whole wheat bread provide carbohydrates for energy and some protein. 8. Vegetables: Spinach, broccoli, kale, and Brussels sprouts are good sources of vitamins, minerals, and some protein.
Next Steps
Including a variety of these foods in her diet can help ensure she gets the nutrients needed to support muscle health and overall well-being.
Health Tips
Additionally, staying hydrated and consuming enough calories to support her activity level are also important considerations. Don’t take supplements without consultation.
