Mayofacial spasm under shoulder blade
Mayofacial spasm under the shoulder blade is leading to pain from neck to right side upper back. Due to this my back keeps feeling like it needs to be popped. Also when stretch my back I can feel pop sounds on stretching. There is no issue with my range of motion from shoulder but I can feel the muscle tingling low pain when stretching. Please advise.

Your pain could be due to sedentary lifestyle or poor posture. How long do you have this pain? Is this pain continuous or intermittent?
Next Steps
You should do back stretching and strengthening exercises and neck stretching and strengthening exercises with proper guidance. You should give hot water fomentation for your back twice a day. You can use Volini gel or spray provided you are not allergic. You should drink atleast 2.5 litres of water every day.
Health Tips
If the pain persists or aggrevates you need to consult a Physiotherapist or Orthopaedist for further evaluation and treatment either in person or through video call.

Hi, Please consider engaging in regular physical activity, resistance training (lifting weights or own body weight exercises) for whole body will help. For immediate relief from the stiffness you can use a tennis ball / golf ball / cricket ball to roll on the stiff areas of the back and shoulder blades. Follow it up with heat packs and stretching.
Next Steps
physical activity, rolling with the ball or foam roller and stretching, heat packs as part of therapy
