Advisable supplements should be taken atleast 6 months when you are breastfeeding
You should take Iron Calcium supplements for as long as you breastfeed your baby, and for three months after that. You need both, iron and Calcium. If one preparation doesn't suit you you may try another one.
Ideally it is recommended for 3 months after delivery.
But if your lab reports are within normal range, you can just focus on incorporating iron rich diet and stop the iron medicines.
