Low Total Cholesterol 110
Hello, I am 32 yrs old mother of 2 babies. I recently had annual blood tests and I have a low total cholesterol 110 mg/dl Triglycerides 90 LDL 51 and VLDL 18 I have no other disease or no other factor abnormal in my reports. I have a family history of diabetes, atherosclerosis, hypertension and kidney stones. No history of constipation/normal stools. Normal liver enzymes etc. Is this some disorder? Do i need to worry? Shall I eat oily food to increase my cholesterol? How can I correct it?

I think you should not worry about this. You should not observe any special method to keep your cholesterol levels low. You can have one egg per day (with yolk) , that is if you have been off eggs for some time. You should not deliberately avoid fried stuff. There will be some increase in cholesterol.
