Low HDL a cholesterol
Hi I am 7 mo postpartum mom. In my recent blood screening I observed low hdl (29) Total cholesterol-170 Triglycerides-121 LDL cholesterol-118 Pls suggest if this is anything serious to worry about and how I can improve my HDL. I am 33 year old and BMI is 27.5

Exercise is the best way to improve HDL.dietary changes and weight loss is also recommended for you.however,since you are 7 months post partum you need to be careful how you lose weight.

According to your sign and symptom you are suffering from LDL cholesterol increase mild and HDL low. LDL cholesterol can be decrease by avoiding  fatty food and spicy food and do exercise regularly with yoga and meditation. HDL can be increase by taking good fat like nut and seed food like almond ,wall nut etc and do exercise regularly with yoga and meditation.
