Hi, Cough, cold & loss of taste, smell & appetite is seems to be due to Virat infection. It can take fews days to recover.
Next Steps
If cough is productive, she may require expectorant. For symptomatic relief from cold  she can take Levo Ceterizine 5 mg twice daily if nose is only running, but if congestion is present, you can give her T. Sinarest thrice daily. If sputum is thick, you give her course of antibiotic on the basis of CS in consultation with your family Physician.
Health Tips
Ask her to take steam inhalation twice a day. I wish her quick recovery.

Opinion: It’s reassuring that your wife’s fever has resolved, but the persistence of symptoms such as cough, cold, and loss of taste/smell/appetite suggests a viral infection, possibly a post-viral phase. Loss of taste and smell is common in respiratory infections, including COVID-19, influenza, or other upper respiratory infections. The antibiotics (Gudcef CV) are unlikely to address viral causes but might have been given to cover secondary bacterial infections. While these symptoms are usually self-limiting and improve gradually, the loss of taste/smell and lingering respiratory symptoms warrant attention, especially if they persist or worsen. Next Steps: 1. Symptomatic Management: • For the cough and cold: Continue steam inhalation 2–3 times daily and use saline nasal sprays to clear nasal congestion. • Over-the-counter antihistamines (like levocetirizine) or decongestants (as recommended by your doctor) may help reduce congestion and ease symptoms. 2. Nutrition and Hydration: • Encourage small, frequent meals and plenty of fluids to restore energy and hydration. • Vitamin C and zinc supplements may help boost recovery and immune function. 3. Monitor Symptoms: • Loss of taste/smell may take time to recover but usually improves within a few weeks. If symptoms persist beyond 2–4 weeks, consult an ENT specialist. 4. Investigations: • If symptoms do not improve in the next few days or worsen (e.g., persistent cough, fatigue, or breathing difficulty), consider the following: • A COVID-19 test if not already ruled out. • Complete blood count (CBC) to check for ongoing infection or inflammation. • Chest X-ray if there are concerns about respiratory complications. 5. Consultation: • If the cough worsens, becomes productive with yellow or green sputum, or if breathing difficulty develops, consult a physician promptly to evaluate for possible secondary bacterial infection or post-viral bronchitis. This doesn’t seem to be an immediate cause for concern, but close monitoring and supportive care are essential. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult with me or a nearby physician for further evaluation.
