Loose teeth and swollen gums
Hi, I have loose teeth and swollen gums.. i visited a dentist and he mentioned bridging will solve the loose teeths. Can i go for bridging or gum surgery is required and if yes, are laser surgeries effective compared to flap surgery.

You will need to get deep scaling (cleaning) done first. After that, depending on how severe the mobility of your teeth is, the treatment may involve either flap surgery or splinting. For swollen gums and mobile teeth, flap surgery is usually more effective for cleaning deep pockets and removing infection. In some cases, laser surgery can also be considered , it causes less bleeding and faster healing, but may not be suitable for all cases. Your dentist will decide the best option after examining the severity.

Treatment depends on level of surrounding bone present. First it has to be evaluated then a treatment plan can be made.

Hello, first, deep cleaning and polishing should be done for the loose teeth and swollen gums. After that flap surgery can be done depending on severity of the mobility. Bridging is not the option in your case. Dental Galaxy, Pune
